Summer Break

Finally, my 2nd year college life has come to an end!! I am now an incoming 3rd year college student this June! I still have 4 semesters to accomplish to graduate!

So, I actually don't have a plan to spend summer vacation somewhere, but to get a job this summer. Because I'll be the one who's gonna pay for my school expenses this coming school year cos my parents can't afford my school fees anymore. Course they'll still help me but I have to earn as well because they can't give me money that much for my school fees. I'm gonna find a BPO Company this coming Tuesday and hopefully I'll get the job immediately.

I'm gonna upload photos of the last days of my 2nd term as soon as I have time to update my blog.

'ME TIME' weekend

Yes, I call it 'me time' weekend because I decided to just stay at my dorm this whole weekend, I'm not gonna visit my bf this weekend. I don't know why but just thinking of commuting all the way to my bf's place gets me tired already. Well at least, I'll be able to update my blog, and it's really my goal for this weekend.

Last Tuesday, I received a simple bouquet from a guy friend, Michael. Actually it's 3 of us whom he gave a simple bouquet. If you're reading my previous post, I celebrated Valentine's day with my college friends last 14th of Feb. And since Michael's parents has a flower shop business, we (Chia and Mona) are teasing him to at least give us a bouquet though I don't like receiving flowers, after all, that was just a joke.
Now the day has come that Michael gave us a simple bouquet last Tuesday..I actually didn't expected it. But one thing's for sure, he gave us a bouquet simply because there's still some flowers left in their businesscafter the Valentine's day. =) (They're selling flowers online)
Mona told me that I got flowers from someone, I didn't know that it's from Michael yet.. I told Mona to put those flowers in the trash then suddenly, to my surprise, Michael shouted at me to at least appreciate the flowers he gave. *laughs* Well, either way, if I knew that it's from Michael or not, I will still say the same thing. But a few mins later, I thanked him for the flowers, of course.
Now please don't ask me why I hate flowers because I don't know either. Maybe I don't like it because I don't receive anything before when my hs friends does, or my bf doesn't give me one (though he know that I don't like one, but at least, why don't try cos I might appreciate it, right?) or I just don't like receiving one for some reason that I don't totally know....I just don't know. But at least, I still appreciate the beauty of a flower.

Midterms' still hunting me

Yes, midterms is done and I'm not satisfied with the answers in my Customs1 exam. But I'm pretty sure I nailed my Tariff1 exam and not bad for Taxation1 exam. Ugh. I guess, the way I revise all of the lessons isn't my best yet. And guess what, I just had my declamation for our my Speech Comm class yesterday and my performance is just so lame. Well, it's because I'm not prepared, I memorized it 2 hrs before I perform, and I'm surprised because I am the first to perform. It isn't my plan, my plan is to be atleast the 3rd to perform for me to get an idea on how to deliver that freaking prose. If only I wasn't chosen to perform first, I might got the best performance ever yesterday. I'm so depressed. I want to get the best grades cos I wanna belong to the 1st section class next sem. :(
Damn it, I'm starting to be competitive already with my school buddies, I wanna overcome this..no, not that I need to overcome, I need to at least control this kind of attitude. Because I won't be motivated anymore if ever I'll surpass being competitive. I just want to be as good as they were in class. I'm feeling so stupid already, I wanna be the most intelligent person in our class... I swear I'm gonna study hard..

Christmas Break

Currently chillin' at my bf's pad, updating my blog and I'm just so happy cos finally, Prelims is over!

Lemme just show you guys the reason why (maybe) I'm so determined to revise all the lessons for Prelims.
haha. Because my study table is sky blue (favourite color) and there's a word focus in front of me while having a book review. haha

I already bought a ticket going to Bicol this coming Saturday for me and my friend, yes, we're both going to Bicol on the same day..

Oops, before I forgot, if you guys are wondering what these two boys are doing, they're playing Pinoy Genius during our Speech Comm class. It was planned by our Prof for Christmas Class edition, we even have the so called Christmas Quiz! haha

It's a freaking weekend!

And finally, my major exams are done and I'm thankful because I passed the retention, I passed my Taxation exam, and I'm confident that'll get good grades in my Tariff1 exam and not bad in my Customs1 exam. haha.
Been very busy this week, and I've been a studious girl this week. haha. I revised all of my lessons! And it's been 4 years since the last time I reviewed so damn hard, haha, I was a high school student the last time I reviewed all of the lessons for exam. hahaha
And I can say that everything I did is all worth it! HAHAHA Hope I'll continue being this studious, because this is not only for me to pass the retention, the exam.. but this is for myself as well, for me to surely pass the Customs Broker Licensure Examination, that way, I'll be able to achieve my goals.
I swear I'll do everything just to pass the exam! I'm so determined and maybe that's the reason why I've never been lazy revising the lessons! This is first time! hahaha

Well anyway, last Tuesday, December 10, was my birthday and I'm so happy because I was surprised by my bf's gift! hahaha And of course, my true friends greeted me with my pictures posted on fb.. and my blockmates greeted me as well =)

Happy school girl

Hey, it's Wednesday and I don't have classes today that's why I'm here, posting something that I don't know what's gonna be the outcome. haha. Well, nothing's peculiar but I'm happy that I gained some friends in school. I'm having a good relationship now with my blockmates, and I'm performing real good in class. =)
I'm studying hard and I can say that I've changed a lot in terms of studying. I'm quite studious now, because I really wanted to get the title LCB (Licensed Customs Broker), and I've been assigned a leader in some groups in our class that I've never been experience before because I'm lazy and no one's shouting my name to be a group leader. But now, I heard some of my classmates shouting my name to be a group leader. I even joined the Newsletter Committee for the College of Business Administration Department. But it'll be better if I joined the Production Committee simply because I want to dance. haha. I'd rather dance than writing lame articles. haha. It was never my plan to join the Newsletter Committee but I was forced to join cos my school buddies are forcing me to join and said that they're gonna join as well. So I'm gonna give it a try. haha

First day of my 2nd year college - 2nd semester life

It's been a week since the first day of our 2nd semester starts. Okay, so my first week's not that really good. I've been an irregular student for the last 3 semesters and I guess that's the problem, I've been used to it that I felt really awkward with my blockmates. They were so damn close and I felt as if I wanna isolated myself from them. But I don't wanna be a loner as well, so good thing that there's some people I know in my block, but we're not that close. And it's really awkward that I have to talk to them when I don't even bother smiling at them the last sem. Do you feel me? I enrolled as a regular student this semester since I got full load units already, and I'm required to do so since we have a so called retention policy in my department. It's hard being a regular student when I used to be an irregular student before.

So to share you guys my experience during my first day in my 2nd semester class, I went to room 508, that's the first classroom I ever entered this semester...I can say that everyone of them looked at me as I enter the room as if I looked familiar to them which I was actually, cos they were my classmates last 1st yr college 2nd sem. I can't imagine that I have to deal with their company because never did I talked to them before cos I'm always with my buddy. Btw, she didn't enrolled this semester because she only have 4 subjects to take, she just decided to take those subjects on summer. So going back, I occupied the seat that first caught by my eyes, then 2 of my classmates last sem waves at me, and it's funny because I sit beside them rightaway and told them that I didn't know any people in the class except for the 2 of them. And our prof entered the room, of course he introduced himself and discuss his rules. My prof requires our class to group into 5, which means, my 2 former classmates are gonna be my groupmates because they were the only people I know in the class. But the thing is, I don't want to spend the whole sem with them, not being rude but they're not that studious, they're lazy, and I don't wanna be part of the group of some lazy people. So for the next class, I sit beside those people who looked geek, I asked them if they already have a group for our previous class, and I told them that I can be a member of their group since they're looking for another member anyway. And not only member cos they were my buddies now. HAHA. And I'm loving them already because my goal actually is to spend time with the right people and I just did!

Hopefully they're gonna be my buddies still for the next 4 semesters! I'm still adjusting myself dealing with them yet but I'm kinda comfortable with their company already as time goes by..

LPU vs. UPHSD

Went to San Juan Arena to watch the Basketball game, my school, LPU vs. UPHSD.

My PE professor gave us a deal, if we will not watch the game, then we still need to attend the class on Wednesday and won't get a 100% score on our activity. But if we'll watch the game, we'll get a 100% score plus, we don't need to attend the class anymore on Wednesday. So I'd rather watch the game. HAHA.

Hey. It's my first time to wear a lipstick! And I feel so damn pretty! HAHAHA. The color of the lipstick is pink (it's my room mates' lipstick actually). I put just a  light color that's why it doesn't look like I have a lipstick on, but I swear I do!

Tableau

Playing a Tableau on the stage for Buwan ng Wika serves as a project in our Philippine Literature subject and if ever we get the first place, we will be exempted from our midterm exam.

Well of course, we're so damn determined to get the title but unfortunately, our prof in Philippine Literature has misinformed us. He told us that the contest will be today (Aug.16,2012). Then while doing our props 2 days before the said date, our Director informed us that the contest will be on the next day (Aug.15,2012). We really don't want to believe him at first cos it's our Prof himself who informed us about the date of the said contest, but our Director confirmed it with the staffs of the program, and it's fucking true that the contest will be on the 15th and the winners on that day will be going to present their performance the next day (Aug.16th). So to our dismay, we failed to join the contest and present our Tableau because we don't have the costumes yet...we will be able to get the costumes the night before the 16th. But the good thing is, we were still able to perform but not for the contest anymore but for the intermission for Buwan ng Wika. 

Well at least we were still able to perform. And guess what, it's my first time to perform on the stage. I mean, I've never been performed on the stage ever since I've started college, not even in my previous school. I really want to perform and dance on the stage but I've never got the chance cos I'm too shy. But it's a good thing for me that I already performed in front of many students on the stage even if it's only Tableau.

Best exam ever!!

Well, we're actually expecting that our JPL exam will be on friday, then we're so surprised because there came a teacher inside our room which we don't even know who he is, saying that we're going to have our exam then. But we reminded him that our exam will be on friday. Then he said that our prof didn't informed the faculty about the schedule of our exam. We told him that we only meet our prof twice, and we didn't even reviewed our lessons yet. Good thing our prof gave us 15mins to review, but damn, 15mins ain't enough to review all the lessons!

They say high school life is the most unforgettable memories in the life of all teenagers all over the world. And I strongly agree to that. With high school days, I've found my friends were I can share all of my emotions with, happiness, sad and even anger. I learned a lot from it. I treasure every minute of memories I had with my high school life and friends as well. I really enjoyed being a high school student. High school life was indeed the best days if my life :)

I was a first year high school when I first met my very closest friends. They were my first and second year classmates. And till now, we still keep in touch even though we're no longer classmates since I took up studying my 3rd year high school at the other school. Yes, I transfered to other school (actually, I'll go back to the school where I studied my elementary, I'll just continue studying my high school there) because of some matters. But that doesn't mean that we ended our friendship. Like what I said, we still have our communications and if we have time, we sometimes get to see each other. (Sad thing we don't have pictures that time, hmm)

I really had a good time of being a first year college student. I've met new people and it was really fun meeting new friends. I really had a good time and will surely miss them. We experience adventures, challenges and many more. And even though they're not my classmates anymore, and I also often see them, I am still thankful because we still have communications with the help of cellphones and social networking site like Facebook.

Reminiscing..

I'm posting my status on my FB then suddenly I received a notification from my friend, she commented on my album named CHEF, (well, my course when I was a first year college is BSFIM--Bachelor of Science in Food Service and Institutional Management. So, me and my classmates usually cook for our projects, activities, and many more) Then while looking at the photo, I realized that I missed my course badly, aside from missing my college friends, I missed cooking at the school's apartelle and wearing my chef attire.

 

 

 

 

 

If there's one thing that I will miss the most about my course, it's the people I've met because of my course, my classmates..even though sometimes, some of my classmates are having some misunderstandings, in the end, we all stand together as one..

And also, I will not forget our culminating activity in our two subjects which happened in just one day. It was very tiring but it was an achievement for all of us. Even though we're having a hard time, some of my classmates are already quarreling, some of has is already bad trip, but in the end, we can't believe that we finished our activity very good. It's a job well done for us..

Our first culminating activity was in our subject, International Cooking. And our theme is Chinese..

We finished our culminating at around 3pm. It's very tiring, we started at exactly 6am. whew! But it's worth it.

After our first culminating activity, we have our 2 hour break and after that, we're preparing for our second culminating activity in our subject, Introduction to Food Service, our theme is about our Region (Bicol Region) which held at our School's apartelle..

I miss them so much. Bad thing I won't be able be cooking with them cos I'm not already their classmate, but it's ok, I'll meet new friends again in my new school, but I won't be able to wear my chef attire cos my course is not a food related anymore. Well, even though this course is not my choice, I still enjoy the days being with them. And I'll surely treasure my memories with them :)
